Between Shadow and Light
Charcoal and gold leaf
Two ravens, one black and one white, surround the figure like opposing forces inside the unconscious mind. Drawing on Jungian psychology, they stand for the Shadow and the Self: the darkness we carry and the light we are trying to understand. The woman stands between them, choosing neither, holding both. The gold becomes a symbol of consciousness, of transformation, and of the hidden value inside our contradictions. Perhaps wholeness begins when we stop fighting our shadows and learn to see them.
